newbee with a Uhaul ct13

Hello, my name is Deb and my husband and I purchased our trailer affectionately named Marvin ( for Marvin the Martian) about three years ago. We have just now been able to start our restoration. This forum has wonderful information and the creativity seems to be limitless. We have classic cars so my Marvin is being restored to be pulled behind my "68 Dodge Charger. I can't wait.

OK, I would love to decorate a trailer named after Marvin the Martian. Of course, I would also have to the Dodge as a Looney Tunes character too, maybe Daffy or the Tasmanian Devil.

We love our Uhaul, but they do have their own unique features. Be sure to read the repair manual here in the document section.

Welcome to U-Haul, you will enjoy it. I have a classic car also, had more but sold them. I still have the 62 Corvett.

Roger what did you decide to do with your VT axle? Replace the whole thing?

Thank you so much for the welcome. The picture of my car and Marvin before we started on him are in my profile. I will post more pictures soon. I even have carpet with glow in the dark atom symbols, but that is down to road yet. We hope to have him ready for paint in about a month. My husband and I like to do campout/car events so this should be so much fun. Now I won't have to pack the trunk of my charger with camping equipment anymore.

The combo will look nice together. All you folks who can make your trailers match your cool cars make me sooo jealous. We added blue details to both our fiberglass trailers to match our blue VW pickup but just can't find time to work on it.

When I was a kid living in Monterrey, Cali., we went to Salinas to buy a new car. When we got to the show room (I had never been in a new car show room), I saw this beautiful yellow 1966 Charger. My dad said we were getting it. My mom (that is, "Mom the Wiser") said NO. We got a Coronet station wagon instead. It had a 383 in it so dad was happy with that
I believe '66 was the first year for Charger.
What engine do you have?
