Thanks for the input. We had the opportunity to look at a
Bigfoot 17.5FB 2500 series at the Outer Banks
rally. That model is well suited to our particular needs. The quality of construction was obviously very good and the only compromise I see is the additional
weight. We liked the fact that it is slightly wider than some others and the 4 season capability. With all that said, several other models would also work for us very nicely and what we end up with will to some degree be guided by availability. Since reselling a FGRV that is well maintained can be done with little or no financial loss we may buy one that is available and use it while we shop for our "ultimate" rig.
