Newbie with a different FG unit!

Hi all, Happy New Year!
I'm Robin from Baltimore, MD. I'm a new owner of an old '89
Fiberglass Toyota Sunrader. I am excited to join all of you to learn more about how to care for our fiberglass rigs. Thanks for letting me sit next to your Casitas, Bolers, Burros and Scamps- love them, but my Mini wouldn't be able to tow one of those beauties.

Hi Alan, there are three photos of the Sunrader in my gallery, but I will post more. What rig do you have?

Sweet! Did you see the attached photos I just sent with my last post? Not sure how this forum works quite yet, regarding photo attachments

I did find your gallery photos. I didn't realize Sunraders came that large- very roomy layout!

Thanks Jon!
I'll check it out. My shots are often coming in sideways. Hope your link will fix that too.

It won't because that's a recent and as-yet-unresolved problem.

If you're using a newer tablet or smartphone to take the photos, you may have to take all your shots in standard orientation (landscape mode, home button on right). The current version of the forum software is apparently unable to read orientation information from newer mobile devices.

Oddly, it seems to handle portrait mode from my "vintage" iPhone4 just fine...

Great find! I hope you got a good one! There was a Toyota Sunrader ('89 I believe) parked in a front yard with a "For Sale" sign a couple miles down the road a year or so back. I stopped and gave it a quick once-over from the outside when the owner was not around. I don't think there was a piece of metal on the Toyota that wasn't painted-over rust or a piece of wood or fabric inside the fiberglass shell that wasn't water stained, molded or rotted. Wherever it had been, it had had a major water intrusion problem and been totally neglected for a long, long time. I felt so sorry for it! The thought of renovating it had entered my mind when I first saw it but then quickly left my mind after I saw it up close. Where would one begin, and where would the expenses end?
