Newly retired traveling in Lance truck camper

I'm figuring out how everything works. Had some problems with over the bed window leaking under matress. Pulled out the YouTube video on this site which help me fix that leak by taking the window out and resealing it. Not sure if it's fixed completely until the next time it rains. Repaced bed. Just winterized my Lance and I think I got that figured out. Have a question about camping near ski resort with snow. What are the secrets to dealing with Ski country in the Lance camper? Just put snow tires on ford F250 diesel. Heard about heated water hoses. Is it better to dry camp? How about dealing with deep snow on roof? Diesel truck battery issues in cold weather?
Hail storm in Denver broke 4 lights and beat up my roof.
Any tricks you know would speed up my learning curve.

My suggestion would be to sale the camper and get yourself a nice Molded Fiberglass Trailer like maybe a Scamp, a Casita, or even a Burro. Just to name a couple.

Though I've read that a few Lance trailers had composite roofs, I think the truck campers are tpo. Is yours? Here, we talk about molded fiberglass trailers, fiberglass all around.
However, you will find tips for the basic systems that we all share... furnace, water systems, etc. No one I know of is "re-inventing the wheel" here. Most campers have a lot of third-party systems, no matter what the trailer or truck camper is made of.
You probably just won't get as many responses to truck camper questions on a molded fiberglass trailer website as you'd get elsewhere... Honestly.

Also Lance has their own owners forum too which can be very helpful in acquiring specific information. The folks over their seem to go out of their way to answer questions.

I can't help, wish I could. Maybe Google is your friend? We've had all molded towable owners that needed more space and went with the "Lance." For various reasons, they sold and came back to ownership in the "all molded towable" world.

I have a Bigfoot TC. Be sure to remove the snow from the roof in the winter. It adds weight up high and causes problems. I don't know much about Lance camper except they seem to have many problems. You should've able to address them up checking literally everything.

It you want to winter camp most people don't use water. If you need to use the head flush with pink antifreeze or windshield washer fluid.

Leaks destroy those things. Look for leaks and seal with Dicor.

Check for cold spots in the winter. Or you can heat up the camper and use a thermal imager outside to check for hotspots. That is how you identify insulation problems.
