After missing out on a neighbor's long festering Scamp
a couple years back, I have had my eye out for an inexpensive fiberglass egg. As a daily stalker of Craigslist, last week I was looking for boat parts and happened to see the corner of one of these little campers. After inquiring with the owner he agreed to sell it to me, so I now have 1974 Trillium
in need of some love.
It appears to be structurally sound on the inside and out. The door is sagging slightly and window gaskets probably need replaced. The interior is decent and I have nothing to complain about considering what I paid.
My family does a fair amount of camping, albeit only in the winter months as we are stuck in the circle of humidity hell that is Florida. It will be nice to get rid of my tents!
