Hello. After a much longer than anticipated search , I found what I feel I need. A 13' bunk bed model. 2001. A little larger project than what was on the wish list ( lol - heard that one ? ) ; but doable. Sure wish there was a similar model to get some info from, but not real likely in CA. The people at Casita Parts are great, as were the owners I met at the last Casita Rally at Lake Casitas ! Hope to see some of ya sometime.....

Hi Charlie,

Welcome! I looked at the 13' Casita and thought it was great, but the only one being sold local to me was snatched up within a day of being offered. Ended up with a 1995 Casita 16' FD that is a ton of fun! Jessica and I are heading to VT tomorrow for the weekend and then will go to Alf's Wine Escape Rally in Canada in September. Have to get in as many trips as possible before the snow flies here.

thanks. looking forward to ....needs a few things, so soon enough, I guess. Enjoy your trip. This one was a Texas trailer. I couldn't find one here. Almost bought a Patriot until the guy weighed it and put it out of my desired range for my tow vehicle. Then I was getting so frustrated that I tried to order one and was told they no longer make the bunk bed model nor would they build one ! That was early this year. This popped up, I snatched it despite it's shortcomings. Had a "fun" time trying to figure out the upper bunk pattern, but now have the rough cut and the necessary fine tune info. Now it is just adding parts. cushions, tanks, elect, propane lines....needs TLC...doable

Richard, where in VT, we go there at least a couple times a year. You should also sign up for the Copake NY rally in October.

Hi Bob,

It will be just 2 nights, so we chose to stay at Pine Hollow Campground in Pownal. We plan on hiking Mt Greylock during the day and then visting Bennington in the evening.

I have been looking for an October outing and Copake looks to be ideal. Thanks for pointing it out!

I will look into it further, so hope to meet you there!
