Welcome, Mary! Are you shopping for a molded fiberglass (egg-type) travel trailer? This is a very active forum, so yes, lots of information to be had. Tell us a bit about your plans and needs, and we can assist you better.

I suspect from looking at the punctuation at the end of that sentence it was meant to look like a smile not a question mark with a parenthesis mark following it ?)
That changes the whole meaning of the sentence. They were just saying that there ARE a lot of interesting topics rather than asking what topics are interesting. It was a compliment, not a question. A smile because indeed there are a lot of interesting topics in the forum.
The clue is also in the sentence structure, they did not say "what interesting topics do you have here to read ?" Just a simple typo, those punctuation keys can also become a typo.

Currently, I'm only discovering RV and looking for something worthwhile, so I just need to get more info about RV's, because I've never been experienced with them. Thanks for the welcome!

Yeap, I've made sure, that there are many interesting topics, so my "introduction part" was a question and a compliment simultaneously

RVs encompass a wide range of products and budgets, ranging from tents-on-wheels to rolling luxury condos with everything you have at home on a smaller scale.
One of the biggest shocks for newcomers is build quality. New cars and trucks have become very reliable, thanks to computerized design and assembly, backed by strong warranties and consumer protections. Not so RVs. Some are better than others of course, but even the best are nothing like the jump-in-and-drive experience of a new car. Warranties are short and patchwork, consumer protections weak, and horror stories abound (google "RV quality").
You can avoid some of the worst by buying a simple and well-cared-for used unit that's already been de-bugged. Or buy a project and rebuild it to your own standards. But RVs in general are a bit "fiddly"- something always needs fixing, adjusting, or replacing.
That's the bad. The good is you've landed on a molded fiberglass trailer forum. All-molded trailers are generally smaller and simpler than most RVs you see on the road. The exterior shells have less potential for leaks and resulting structural issues. Keep up with the fiddling and they can last decades. Molded fiberglass trailers typically cost more (but hold their value better) than non-molded trailers.
Trailers in general don't have the complexity of their own drivetrain and controls. You can buy a new tow vehicle as needed and keep the camper. You can unhitch and use the vehicle to explore. Of course, you have to own or purchase a vehicle rated to pull a trailer, and towing involves a new set of driving skills.
First decision point is whether you want a motorized all-in-one RV- motorhome, truck camper, or van conversion- or a trailer. If a trailer, will you tow with a vehicle you already have or buy a vehicle to tow the trailer you want?
Second decision point is how much of the comforts of home you want- just a dry bed, or a full kitchen and bathroom. More features = more cost, more weight, more work.
Third decision point is how much space you feel you need to be comfortable. How many people and/or pets? Are you okay with multi-use convertible spaces- a dinette that folds down into a bed or a toilet that pulls out of a closet- or would you rather have separate spaces for each function?
Fourth decision point is budget. Along with budget is how much repair/upgrading you are able and willing to do to make it road-worthy and camp-ready.
Best wishes on your journey into RV travel!

Hello and welcome!
I was at your stage of the process in 2017. It's fun to discover RVing.
I jumped right in and bought a used Scamp 13 footer just to figure out the fiberglass RV world without getting too heavily invested.
I've since purchased a couple more, but I still love my 13 footer, very easy to tow.
If I were buying new today, there are several I like, but I'm very intrigued by the Armadillo Backpack. It's a 14 footer. Lots of storage underneath and they're a pretty new company. Not sure of their longevity, but I'd take the risk if I were wanting something new and semi-small.
Best to you in your research. Keep us posted if you buy something.

First, let me emphasize Jon's post (#7 above), which has some great guidance.
Along with that, ask yourself what you're going to be doing. Do you camp in one location and explore? Do you travel, stop, and explore? How much comfort do you want or require?
All the comforts of home <-------> ground cloth on rough ground with a log for a pillow: Where are you on this line.
There are a lot of other ways to categorize and ask questions, but they'll let you narrow down your RV choices.
Also, check out RV rallies in your area. Some are posted on this forum, some on other similar forums. Find one, and drop in for the day and visit. Many RV'ers love to share their experiences, why their RV is the best, their favorite camp menu, wild stories about their RV buddies, etc.

Hallo Mary. First thing is to go register for the newsletter at www.rvtravel.com. Join facebook group RV Horror Stories and if applicable RVing with Pets. Next set learning, like you are enrolled in RV USE & PURCHASE 101 in school. I'm serious !I "lurked" (meaning I was not an RV owner) on RVTRAVEL>COM for 12- yes a dozen- years. Have you camping experience? I was an ultralight backpacker for years before my physical deterioration robbed me of the ability to comfortably sleep on the ground. What is your preferred mode of travel? There is a bicycle trailer (WIDEPATH) several MOTORCYCLE campers (Aspen etc.- most are popups- softsided- not allowed in govt campgrounds in Grizzly bear country) teardrops, aluminum campers(airstream) flatpanel Fiberglass, molded Fiberglass, "stickybuilt" referring to put together like modular houses, et all. Are you going to be solo camping? Look at signing up for RVWomen or other such group. To be frank, I was going to be a solo RVer because my husband had almost totally withdrawn from camping with me. I was very surprised when he insisted on joining me for camping in the RV. Chuck founder and admin/editor at RVTRAVEL admits he is no longer a camper he is someone who basically drives his house down the highway-and he does it in a midsized, not ginormous trailer.
Consider going to St Matthew SC to check out the LILSNOOZY2 they are supposed to be in production soon. Or Tennessee to check out Olivers. There are several other molded fiberglass producers and many times you can call the factory and they have lists of owners (hopefully close to you) who would be willing to show off their trailerto potential purchasers. Or like DF Andrews suggestion you should attend a rally- which is basically a group of owners getting together at certain time and place for fellowship and to show off their campers to one another or asDF Andrews suggestion you should attend a rally
DF Andrews suggestion you should attend a rally

If you should decide you "have to" purchase used consider whether or not your skills are up to assessing the condition of an RV and if you have the time and $$ to fix anything needing fixing. Molded fiberglassies seem expensive at first glance but after checking out you tubes on how to purchase used/assess all RV systems you may decide it is better to buy new- as I did. DH and I are about both clueless about most construction stuff- even my wallpainting skills show I wasn't near as good as I thought I was 30 something years after repainting the kid's rooms and living rooms.
Lastly you can find other RVers living close or sharing your enthusiasm for a certain brand. You can be a lot more social than you thought you'd be or you can chose to be as solitary as you wish. I love camping once again- after years of camping deprivation I find it wonderful to be outside again- and DH is appreciative of the fact I am willing to travel to more urban areas to check out historical attractions if we use our LILSNOOZY instead of hotels- and it's a heck of a lot more affordable!
