Purchasing HC1

Hi, I'm Rachel. My husband and I are purchasing a Happier Camper for ourselves and our preschooler. We both grew up camping and have tent camped a few weekends a year until this past year.

With COVID we rented an RV and spent a week driving to visit my parents, and loved the ease of it! Such a step up from sleeping bags falling off the cot into a puddle, muddy dog paws all over our duffel bag, and a full day of cleaning when we get home so the tent doesn't mildew. I loved the RV since we could pull off the road and make some lunch, or drive late and easily put the kiddo to bed when we arrived.

We've realized with a small kid and the state of the world we'll probably be camping as our vacations for the next year or more. Open to advice and threads to follow! We're excited to get our trailer (in 6-8 months) and start camping again.

congratulations Rachel and as with most all HC owners you will be very happy with your Happier Camper . Have you signed on to the Happier Camper owners group yet . Although this site is a wealth of info for everything fg related the Happier Camper is relatively new and not many here are as informed on its use and functions but you will get a lot of advice here on other related topics .

Thumbs up Happy Happier Camper!

Hey Rachel C!

Congratulations on the purchase! An HC1 was my first trailer from tent and exactly like what you described! And the space is amazing!

What color did you get?

Hope to see you on the road one day!

Check out the new Happier Camper Owners Group on RVillage!
