Are you going to pick up the Scamp or are they delivering.
Mine is going to be ready late March I'll be driving to Backus, then back to St. Petersburg.

Hi Sue and Welcome to the world of FGRV's
You mentioned that you have never seen a Scamp, given that, which model did you order and did you order the front bath/shower option?

Sue, I believe it's Floyd here on the forums that has done a mod on the dinette that allows for a permanent single bed across the back of the trailer, with a small, two person dinette right in front of it. Not absolutely convenient, but saves you from having to put the table up and down everyday. Didn't look like a real difficult mod, and easily reversible if you choose. I plan to do this to my Scamp 13 since I will be a solo traveller most of the time.

I used to have a 2008. 13ft. With bath and turned the dinette into a single bed. If they made a clamshell it would still be in my garage.

Sue, come to Sebring the week of the 8th of Feb.
There will be 60+ fiberglass trailers there and dozens of Scamps.
It is the annual SOI ScampCamp and you will learn a lot and meet a lot of nice folks. We will be there too.
Here is my wraparound couch which can also be made into a 30" bunk with the table up. I also have a 14" table which we use extensively and would allow even easier access to the single bed.

These ideas sound great. I will go to the meet in Feb. Where do you find out the area where it is or is it common knowledge when you get there.
Pictures would be great for more clear sofa ..table etch. It sounded like you sent one just have to figure out how to get there.
Thanks
One person spoke of clam shell????
Is Jr and senior how long belonged or age??
