Soon to be U-Haul Owner

I'll be picking up my first camper this weekend. A U-Haul CT, I think it's an '85. It will be living just south of Jacksonville, FL.

Welcome. This is the best place to be for UHaul owners, with a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm. I got my CT in December and I already feel like I'm at UHaul 102 level.

Congratulations on purchasing a Uhaul. They are a neat little trailer, but have their own little oddities. Lots of info on this site including a repair manual. Enjoy and ask questions.

You will love your U Haul. Bob is right about the oddities but thats what makes them great. Please post every little thing about it. We all benefit from each others info. Just south of JAX means air conditioning, Marty D had a good post about that. Keep us posted and you have found a great site for info. Mike

Smile Welcome

Welcome Jim!
This site is the best source for any info you will need about your new little egg. I love mine and can hardly wait for it to warm up to get out and about. Please post before and after pics and any mods you might decide to do--helps us all.

Welcome to the UHaul family! We are just returning from a 9 day trip to Florida, including 2 days in St. Augustine. Boy, was it cold there! Felt like Chicago!

Please post pictures, questions, and stories about your new home on wheels. We love to share things about these unique trailers.

We have had our CT about four years now and have made many great memories! The UHaul has a way of getting under your skin and into your heart!

Welcome to the group! You will soon find yourself thinking about everything you pick up; "will this work in my trailer?" and "How can I modify this to work in my trailer?". You'll learn to LOVE anything with suction cups (they work great on the smooth UHaul walls). And everywhere you go, you'll start seeing more FG trailers!

And responding to the comment, "I didn't know Uhaul rented campers," that is, if your has enough of the stickers identifying it on the outside.

Welcome to the Uhaul family and fiberglassrv.
