Hi Kurt, to FiberglassRV, we're glad you're here
One really great thing about this particular forum, is we're not brandcentric... we love them all. Sure some owners of a particular brand are pretty passionate about their choice. But we every owner and every brand.
Love the one you're with (or want)!

Rocker, if you give Casita a call they will refer you to the nearest owner who participates in their "tour mine" program so you can get a feel for one.

Welcome Kurt.
Kinda sounds like me, as I was going to buy something used to work over, then my wife brought me back to reality telling me that I already had hordes of unfinished products, and thusly I went the new route. Over four years later, and I haven't finished all those other projects yet.
Take your time, and look at all the options available to you. Lots of good moulded fiberglass trailer makes out there.

Kurt,
You might luck out like I did and find a used trailer where the PO has already done the painful mods........you get to do the fun ones!

"Scamping" in beautiful Utah, Spring 2013. I post these photos so you can "picture" your FGRV (no matter what type you choose) in your home state!

 to the Forum Kurt.
Which way to go? Well, from Utah you go South as Casitas are made
in Texas................haha j/k
Here's a picture walk-through of my Lil Snoozy made in South Carolina.

Parkliners are made in North Carolina. And there are so many more that
it can be tough making up one's mind. LOL
Gilda, that's what I did when I was making up my mind.
Copying pictures of everyone pulling whatever their brand with a Tacoma
as that was and is my TV.

Hi Kurt,
I live in S. UT also and have a 13' Scamp/bath if your interested in a tour. Please set aside alot of time. It's my first travel trailer and am very happy I went with Fiberglass. It fits in the garage, so it stays out of the brutal summer weather here.
Send me a PM if you want to see Scamp.
Alice

It depends on how handy you are with tools, how much time you have, what your budget is, etc. Only you can make the call. An egg that's just a few years old shouldn't be much of a project, but something 15+ years old could need a new floor, new axle, all kinds of stuff.
