The new owner of a referral trailer

Hello all, we have bought the 1970 Campster that wa s on Craigslist in Drexel, Mo.
It will need much tlc.
We cant bringit home until the ground dries a bit.
Will try to post pictures after we bring it home.
I am sure we will be asking questions about fixing it up.
Now the fun begins-these trailers are addictive!

Congratulations. We'll all look forward to the pictures.

Whenever an ad says, "would make a great hunting camper," you know it will need a lot of TLC. It seems to be shorthand for, "you won't mind all the stuff that's wrong with it if you want to go out into the woods, drink beer, hunt, and stink for a few days."

Trails West Campster

Yes we knew the camper would need some work and TLC.
We felt it was worth the work and when done we would have a nice little camper.
Can't wait to bring it home and get started.
Have already picked out fabric for cushions and curtains.
Hubby will do the new cabinet doors and some electric and plumbing.
Looking for some new wheels and will get new tires.
Pictures will be posted soon.

I'm so impressed by anyone who has the skills and energy to rehab a 43 year old camper. Best of luck and I'm dying to see pictures.

Congrats on the new trailer and remember the only thing better than a egg that needs no work is one that needs a lot
