time to say "Hi"

I've been lurking here for several years and decided it's time to say "Hi".

This is a great forum - civil, informative and interesting. I appreciate all the good posts I've read and the knowledge I've gained. So, thanks.

I bought my first travel trailer when I moved from Virginia to Colorado in 1992. It was a 13' Scamp. Over the next few years I owned a 17' Sunline and then a 21' Bigfoot. Then life intervened. My tow vehicle was stolen, my career ate all my time and I sold the Bigfoot.

Fast forward to 2013 when I bought my 2002 Bigfoot (17.5' Gaucho). Before I even got it home, I had a massive heart attack and have been recovering since.

More trailer info in the registry but I couldn't figure out how to put a direct link in this post.

Enough about me! Just saying "Hi" before I start with the inane questions .

Welcome, Jan!

Nice looking Bigfoot! Hope your recovery is speedy and you're able to get on the road soon. No such thing as an inane question, so ask away!

Hi Jan,

Welcome! Nice looking camper. Look forward to hearing about your adventures. As a newbie, I learn a great deal from "inane" questions!

Take care,

Dean

Hi Jan
I hope you've used up your allotment of travails for awhile and can get out there and enjoy your new, smaller Bigfoot. Sure sounds like you've earned it. But also sounds like you haven't let life beat you either. Keep it up.

BTW, that's a 17', not 17.5'. The switch didn't come till 2005.

Walt.

Thanks for the welcome! I appreciate the kind responses. I promise to bore you all with questions.

Fixed my trailer length to 17'. As I said, helpful and knowledgeable people here.
