Trail Mite 13

Hey Guys

I'm Manker from VA. Just got a Trail Mite this past week. I've been lurking around here for a while and now that I've got her I decided to go ahead and join. Looking forward to meeting other TM owners and their experiances, since there doesn't seem to be much info on this brand. Can't wait to get after it.

Hi Manker,

Welcome! I just looked up Trail Mite trailers. Very cool. Post some pictures when you get a chance. Is this your first FG trailer?

Take care,

Dean

Yes, this my first FG camper.I started out looking for an old Shasta, Scotty, etc. to fix up. I had seen some Bolers, Scams and the others on line and they peaked my intetest. Small, lightweight, and less rot to deal with. I got a real education as I searched for one. There were pristine examples ($$$) and ones that were completely gutted and still wanted a fortune for them. I really like a lot of ideas that I've seen already, but with the double wall construction some will have to be "worked out"

congrats on the new egg! I love how the belly band ties back into the taillight area. Please keep on posting photos as you clean her up, we love to see them.
