Trillium 1300 Nelson BC

Hi new friends! I have just bought my first trailer, a 1975 Trillium 1300. I would NOT have bought this trailer without first spending lots of time on these forums. I already feel like you all have my back as I am somewhat daunted yet psyched!

First challenge: figuring out why there is (a bit of) water under the benches , and either 1) dealing with the windows, and/or 2) the belly band. Thanks in advance for all the great advice!

Hi, we just purchased our 1977 Trillium 1300 last Saturday! We are in the same boat...or trailer (haha) as we need to do the windows and belly band as well. We've noticed a bit of water in the storage areas too. To start we are just going to clean the trailer inside and out and go from there. We've been considering a temporary carport to cover our trailer while we work on it.

In my opinion, it is a good idea to drill holes, at the lowest point, just forward and behind the wheel wells. This allows the trailer to drain. The holes should be no larger then 1/8".
