Waiting for Casita
Hi All,
We are waiting on our next Casita. Will pick it up in Rice in January. Sold our 16' LD Casita this fall so we are home bound untill we get the next one. I just retired this summer and we are hoping to be able to use the Casita more. Loved the 16' but decided to raise the carport and get the 17' like we really wanted to begin with. This forum has giving me some good ideas for places I want to see. Love the pictures of vintage renovated trailers.

Welcome, KayD. You have one of the few places where a trailer can be picked up in January and there will be no expected problem with the weather getting it home. That is only a few weeks away. Hope you show photos.

We'll, we have the tow vehicle and not the trailer. You'll have time to get the trailer camp ready while your hunting for a TV. Enjoy your new trailer! Good advice on this forum and also The Casita Travel Trailer Forum.

A good friend of mine often quotes another friend of his who says "Life is short, drive a new truck". We like the saying but both of us drive 2003 model trucks. Never the less, I am impressed you are getting just what you want!

Hi: mikeosgal... Nissan Frontiers make a very capable tow vehicle for fiberglass trailers. Trouble is finding a good gently used one.

Empire covers has a sale going on for van and rv covers.
If you're looking for a truck bed cover (after you find your truck), we really like our Undercover bed cover. Strong, but light when you need to remove it to haul oversized items (like our atv).
