We are the Rigsbys

My wife and I have been RVing since 1986.
Through the years we have had a pop-up camper, a 27' 5th wheel, and a 30' 5th wheel (which we sold in 2012).
Because my wife owns a travel agency, we've been traveling either by plane or cruise ship since 2008. The pandemic has had a devastating impact on travel, so we have rediscovered our RVing roots.

We bought a 2016 Casita Liberty Deluxe RV in late November. The original owners only used it twice in four years. We've taken it to Fredericksberg, TX the weekend prior to Thanksgiving for our maiden trip. We really enjoyed it and look forward to many more trips.

Welcome back! To me RVing is the ideal way to travel. My wife and I one time did a cruise at my sister's urging. We were totally unimpressed. We first looked at nude cruises but found the cost increased by 50% to remove your clothing. Ridiculous! We then settled on a cruise that left us totally unimpressed. A lot of over weight and gluttonous cruisers prevailed. Not much to do on board. When docking we were generally given the day to explore. How can you even find in one day what will peak your interests unless you settle for typical tourist spots? Then you barely have time to see those places before you have to return to the boat for more food and boredom.
If you take full advantage of all that RVing offers that cruising could never offer will keep you here as long as you are able.

Welcome to the community. Your Casita is a big upgrade from your 5th wheel stickies. Hope to see you down the road.
