Cheapest mattress stores in Detroit

Hi there, we're passing Detroit and stay here for a couple of days. If there are any locals I'd appreciate if you advised us a store where we can find a $300 queen size memory foam mattress. Do not recommend review websites, I found one list here, and all the models they offer are like $1000. So decent mattress advice would be great, too...

Ikea in Canton, MI has some cheap memory foam mattresses, check the scratch and dent area for deals. If you have a Costco membership, they have some that are a bit more, but not $1000 (though they have plenty of expensive ones) But Costco's selection varies wildly. Walmart is worth checking.

A little farther out is the foam factory, at 17500 23 mile road. They have bare conventional, memory and latex foam. They also have covers to put over the foam. They have sample cushions of the different foams so you can test sit/lie down. That's what we did, then used a electric carving knife to round out the corners for our trillium. We also just stuffed the foam in twin duvet covers we already had instead of buying a cover

We purchased a memory foam queen size mattress from Walmart, had to order it online and pickup it up at the store a couple of days later. We cut it down the middle and it fit our Casita twin bed just perfect, we how have an Oliver and moved it to our new trailer and it also works great there to. We just placed it on top of the factory cushions and sleeping is great. We did get the 3", firm one and it has been a good choice for us, $130.00 glad we didn't spend a lot for one.

Walmart has a selection of memory foam mattresses in various sizes. They are compressed and open up once you unpack them.
