I am looking for a little different kind of help. I am wondering if there are any Canadian Lawyers on this site, that can tell me how to charge a contractor with thief. I hired a contractor to make my bathroom wheelchair accessible and he would up ordering a very large shower cabinet and without any input from me, threw out the tub we had, and didn't replace it. In my opinion that amounts to thief. There had been some talk with him about where the tub was going to be put but at the last minute, he threw it out. I took him to small claims court and because the tub wasn't mentioned in his estimate, they tell me that I can't do anything about it. Can anyone give me some advise. I know this doesn't have anything to do with trailers, but this forum is owners helping owners. Thanks in advance, Yours in Bolering. Jim e-mail stacey@start.ca

Jim,

We just had a similar discussion closed about breakage and since we're not a legal forum we can't really sort through this.

Based on that I'm going to close the thread but move it to General Chat (the Owners Helping Owners sub-forum is about help with trailers). But if someone wants or can help they can reply privately directly to you.
