Stock 98 17 foot Burro goes for 8200 on eBay

And that makes mine worth more than original factory price I guess... :-P

I am printing this ad out for my insurance company.

That seems to be a fairly typical price for a larger Casita or Scamp of that age, so why not a Burro?

I drooled over that one myself... if I had the money (and time to go get it, 1500 miles) I would have been bidding too.

There is nothing wrong with the trailer posted, it seems quite typical. I have the 20th anniversary edition, with all the bells and whistles and it has many items and features this one does not, but I have a hard time thinking it is worth that much. I may rethink.

Things mine has stock that this one doesn't:
Kitchen window (Seller says it has one, but clearly there is not) , double kitchen sink, bathroom sink.

I won't list my upgrades which increase its value, but there are lots of them.

I have seen these come and go, but can't remember one going this high.

The furnace position is confusing me. That cubbie is only about 8 inches deep there. The wheel is right behind it. I removed my furnace to repair it and it is as deep as the counter!

I've been watching that eBay auction out of curiosity as well. My 2000 Burro is pretty much the same options wise. Now I don't feel bad about paying the seller's full asking price, which was still $1700 less than that eBay auction!

I wondered the same thing about the furnace as well, I didn't think it would be possible to put one above the wheel well without cutting the wheel well. Also, it seems like there would be a big empty space next to the refrigerator which is unused and unaccessable. In my trailer, the wheel well cabinet had a half height drawer underneath is an equal height unusable space. I got rid of the drawer and will put a piece of plywood on top of the wheel well and use it for pots.

Thomas, I have done the same thing in that spot, but mine is the "Junk" space, On the lower section is my cleaning supplies.

The space in between the fridge and under sink in mine has a water heater on a stand, and the furnace sits below it.

There is NO WAY the furnace would fit where it is shown in the pic if it is configed as ours are.

I wonder if the upper closet is not as tall INSIDE and the furnace sits on TOP of the wheel well. It is hard to tell from the pics.

Outside, the closet is the same height, but on mine, it is deep at the bottom. They have a drawer there tho.. maybe its not a drawer, but an access panel?

Makes me wonder if we can use our trailers for an equity loan.
