Horst,

Tell the lizard to go eat a gnat and check with GMAC insurance through Camping World. That saved me big bucks and I have State Farm (much cheaper than the reptile).

Horst,
Is this for your Tow vehicle AND the Trailer? I just got insurance for my 17 Ft 2006 Casita Liberty and it only added about $60 per 6 months. My agent said the Liability coverage extends to the trailer from my Tahoe (Tow Vehicle) policy and all I bought additional was Comprhensive for the Trailer. Something is wrong here.

I appreciate your folks responses...was wondering do you have a deductible if so what is it.....wonder if that is the difference...maybe I need to ask you folks what type of insurance do I need...in my other email there was stuff like replacement of Casita, personal effects of 5000.00, vacation recovery of 1000, etc...but 60 for six months is a lot different than 284.00

Chester you said you paid 300.00 CDN..what is CDN and was the it for 6 months...thanks Horst

My Allstate is only $60/6 months. Covers colision while towing. Liability is covered by Escalade insurance policy with no additional increase. Otherwise its covered by Allstate Homeowners insurance when parked at home with no additional increase.

I'm not Ches, but CDN is Canadian (dollars), just as USD is United States (dollars). You'll often see something like this $1,000CDN or $1,000USD

As of today's exchange rate, Ches' $300CDN would equal $252.281USD

Hope this helps!

Waaay too much. We are with Mutual of Enumclaw and paid a lot less than that. The other poster was correct. It should come as a rider on your auto insurance and be in the tens of dollars, not hundreds.

I pay $190 CDN a year for $7000 coverage this includes collision, ($700 deductible) contents are covered under my house policy $250 ded. if I buy a package policy on my tug ($150) it would lower my ded to $200. I have to leave the insurance on all year round for coverage while its parked.
