LCI Industries today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Lippert Components, Inc. (“LCI”), a supplier of a broad array of highly engineered components for the leading original equipment manufacturers in the recreation and transportation product markets, and the related aftermarkets of those industries, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire CURT Group (“CURT”), a leading manufacturer and distributor of branded towing products and truck accessories for the aftermarket, for approximately $340 million. The transaction is expected to close before the end of 2019, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval.

The industry consolidation continues. I'm half-surprised that Thor hasn't bought Lippert yet, honestly.

This has played havoc for small fg manufacturers such us at Happier Camper and others as it makes it very difficult to keep production going and having to constantly source other products .
