Friend of mine had a "widow maker" on his lot. His neighbour offered to take it down. He felled it on his own house.

Yeah trees withing range of buildings are for professionals.

Although sometimes you can save yourself a lot of money on professionals if you can tell them that they can leave most of it on the ground and you will clean it up.

I did not plan to sue my little old neighbor widow if she can get some money for us that would be great if not, to bad so sad. My husband and brother have done fiberglass repair in the past when the giant trees have been removed from 3/4 of the back yard and spring has sprung we will see if we can salvage her
