Hi,
Has anyone shipped a 13’ across the US? Looking at a Scamp in MI and would like it shipped to WA. Thx!

I heard people talking about $1/mile last year.

I've used this broker service for tractors and trailers; never had a problem. Be sure to check out the bidders histories and reviews from customers. https://www.uship.com/

Trailer shipping

We have had 2 trailers from the New York area shipped to Washington state in 2019 and it was about $3,200 per trailer.

I personally think you should fly to New York or wherever anyway and not buy a used trailer sight unseen unless you already know it's a heap of junk and won't be disappointedwhen it arrives; if you don't want or don't have time to drive it back THEN consider shipping.

You could reduce the risk by arranging a pre-purchase inspection by an RV tech near the sale location.. Get a list of what they’re going to check in advance and a written report afterward. I would add a few important Scamp-specific items to inspect- subfloor, front frame, torsion axle, and door fit- if they’re not already covered.
