Tag office blues!!!!

So i called before i bought the CT-13 and was told i did not have to have a title in the state of Ga because it was a tow behind and was less than 2,001 lbs. i get there today and the county office said i had to have a title! They have ran me around all day long with; you need a bonded title. State said no we don't issue titles to that because it is less than 2,001 lbs. County said get an inspection. Officer said Why? Get back up there and get threw all the hoops and not I have a Temp Tag!!! State is going to mail me the plate later because the county didn't have one.

Glad I only have to do this once.

Chris, we've heard nightmares time after time after time on FiberglassRV about title problems. I live in Oregon and in order to prove ownership, to get a license and registration the state REQUIRES a title. Frankly, it wouldn't matter to me what state I lived in, I would want to PROVE I had ownership. I mean honestly think about it. Someone steals your trailer, creates a bill of sale and registers/licenses it in their name.... won't ever happen in Oregon and I'm grateful.
