What's it Worth?

We are going to be selling out 1979 Trillium Jubilee. We have redone the inside, put in a larger fridge (runs on gas, electric and battery), but same basic layout. We reused a lot of the cabinets - just painted them. We put in all new electrical, flooring, fan, moved battery to outside of trailer and new gas lines. We also painted the exterior. I have no idea what to even ask for it and would love opinions!

It’s anybody’s guess in the current market. If you’re in the Bay Area or coastal Southern California, that’s good for a bit more. Cosmetically you’ve done a nice job with the interior rehab. As a buyer I’d also be evaluating the frame, axle, floor, tires, brakes (have them?), belly band, windows… so I’m wondering if any of that has had recent attention.

This is a pretty uncommon model, but pricewise it will be comparable to other small 13-15’ molded trailers with the same basic layout. Best place to review current and recent sales is www.fiberglass-RV-4sale.com. Current offerings are slim, so you’ll probably want to look through the archives. Don’t limit yourself to Trilliums.

Wild guess, I’d say something in the $8-10K range, maybe more depending on your location and the other unknowns I mentioned.

Depending how much on Jon's list has been taken care of, I would be higher. More like $12K to $15K.

Many buyers focus on the cosmetics, which is a big plus for you. Myself, I focus more on the bones: belly band, windows, floor integrity, frame. But I am not your target buyer.

Many of us have not calibrated for pandemic pricing. I’m seeing some crazy prices, yet the trailers are selling. It might go even higher. Witness the 13 foot U Haul that just sold for $16k! Where in CA matters too.

Stove knobs?

Thank you thifty bill and Jon. We removed all the windows and door and resealed them all. The belly band in in very good shape as well as the tires and breaks, we also put new subfloor in and have added adhesive vinyl flooring. The stove does have knobs I just forgot to put them on for the pictures.

I will try to look into similar trailers for pricing ideas. I appreciate your feedback!

Selling my Bigfoot 25b25RQ in September. Is there a KBB type site to price my Trailer? It is a 2018 in excellent condition, no leaks and everything works like new. Thanks for any help.

Grumpy, I am not aware of any KBB price info for Bigfoot or any other FGRVs. To quote Jon in AZ from his post above, "Best place to review current and recent sales is www.fiberglass-RV-4sale.com."
