12v Tv @ 3Amp? do I just plug it in?

Hey Everyone.

I walked into a Rona today to find a $10 used 12v 19inLCD TV/monitor. So I took a chance.

My understanding of 12v electrical is still basic.

Can I just supply this thing with power and I'm good?

Thanks
Mark

As long as it is 12 Volt Direct Current. You are golden.
Plug it in to 120 Volt AC and you have toast.

Nice! I'm playing around with the tv now, I have an ACDC adapter from an old router that fits the numbers.

The little guy works great!

Great you have the thing working. The adapter I guess can be plugged into a regular outlet. You can also get an adapter that fits into a cigarette lighter type plugin. We've had several tv's that we use on 12V and 110V. The adapters make the difference.
