2014 casita water heater failure

The water heater in our 2014 13’ Casita will not fire up on propane.
There is power to the on/off switch.
Any suggestions?

I assume you verified propane is available (stove lights)

Sometimes a wire on the rear of the switch comes unplugged and sometimes the connector to the control board gets unplugged by pulling the power cord out of the storage compartment.

Ours was giving us trouble, I replaced the control board with the Dinosaur Electronics board and it fires up every time.

There are several YouTube videos of step by step troubleshooting tips for the water heater.

Thanks, I had already ordered a new circuit board. It’s not the one you mention but we’ll see if it works. If not, I’ll order the one you recommend,

My original Suburban board lasted over ten years.
The Dinosaur boards are made in the US and are heavy duty.

Hi, I just had the problem while camping. After so many years camping I made the rookie mistake of not opening the bypass to the water heater which flipped the switch. My 2006 Casita SD has a reset button that when pushed, fixed the problem. Here’s hoping your solution is easy
