4500 trillium wiring

Hi

Does anyone know how to hook up a 12 volt battery to a 4500 trillium trailer. the power supply has a 12 volt battery switch on it.

The switch is to bring in the converter which switches to 12v for lights and the 12v side of the 3-way frig. If your looking to rewire for a battery then I would also replace the old converter.

I took the easy route (for me) and wired a male coupler to a deep cycle battery. Of course you only need to hook up the white and black wires.
My converter still works fine and I usually just recharge my battery at home.

I did similar to Chris,
1 two way plug from princess auto
2-Way 12 in. Trailer Harness | Princess Auto
cut it 1/2 and wired 1/2 to the battery with a fuse

Then connected the other 1/2 to a female 7 way plug
7-Way Vehicle End Trailer Connector | Princess Auto

You can then take this and connect your 7 way on the trailer to the battery. Also allows for quick connect of solar chargers to the battery.

On edit, I've never tried this while plugged in to 120V only use it when boondocking.
