Adding A Battery Pack

If I connect a battery pack (the kind used to jump dead batteries) to my trailer battery, will I have effectively increased my battery's total capacity and therefore increase how long I can run on 12v?

Booster is like a starting battery in your car, designed for short electrical draws. The battery in your trailer should be a deep cycle battery, designed for longer, low demand draws.
So, nope.
