And the dog wins - screen door loses
My folding door in the scamp lost a battle with a dog. The little nylon spring loaded widget at the top popped out of the track.
Now one would think that being spring loaded, it would just pull down far enough to slide back up into the track. Uhhh no.
So does anyone know how it gets popped back up into the track?
Do I need to include a picture?

a lot of sliding screen doors, you have to put the top track in, then press the door firmly up against it, and set the door on the bottom rail. but I'm not famliiar with the Scamp's setup.
and ugh, dogs and screens. We had an overly rambunctious doogie, who trashed every screen in our house in a single day running through them.

The reason I have a "pet must be well trained" policy.
Sorry, but I too have no ideas on Scamp screen doors, though my first Escape did have a sliding screen door, as John's must have.

I know of at least three different screen doors that Scamp have used over the years. I would guess that this is the older Bi-fold style. I have the sliding screen door made by Plisse and the fabric is meant to give if a dog goes through it. Then it can be replaced, usually with no damage.
I also found that a baby gate in front of the screen door prevents any problems.

Scamp screen door
If your door is the same as mine, you have to take out the hex screw and tilt the whole door while it is folded. [IMG]

The image didn't come through. Do you mean down at the bottom maybe?

How do I get the hex screw back in if it is on the top?

It's on the bottom side of the top guide rail.

Use the "Go Advanced" feature. Its a button just to the right of the "Post Quick Reply" button below the quick reply box. Click it and then scroll down to the attachments, where you can upload up to four pics.
