Biggest battery for Bigfoot 17.5 w/o modifications

All,

I discovered this brand probably on this forums, and put a
VMAXTanks MR137-120 Deep Cycle battery into a Casita Deluxe 17.
While not a LifePO, it's pretty much a drop in replacement, and has higher lifetime, and more discharge cycles.. You can read all the benefits on their site.

Anyway.. I now have a 2007 Bigfoot 17.5, and wanted to see what biggest battery I can fit there w/o modifying anything.

The battery area is 8x13, and looks like you can put a 155AH
XTR12-155 12Volts 155AH Deep Cycle, XTREME AGM Battery ($400 on their site)
plenty of height in the box..
I don't believe this battery requires a box
12.9"w x 6.9"d x 10"h/10.8th*

I had a SLR100 12Volts, 100AH Deep Cycle, Solar AGM Battery lying around and that fits too.

Anyone else fit anything better (more capacity, higher quality battery)
something with dimensions around 8dx13wx15h could have been over 250Ah

Thanks.

I have seen and also considered making this modification on my Bigfoot 17.5 -

Remove one propane tank and install 2 6-v batteries in series.

Buy lithium

Do your research the price is such you would get more available power with quicker charge for the same money with less weight and size if you go lithium in comparison. Plus its easier to kill wet technologies.

Can kill lithiums, especially "roll your own" just as easily. Very few owners will admit to killing their batteries. Neither are perfect.

Enjoy,

Perry

Is there a known brand of Lithium Iron batteries I can buy 150Ah+ for 400$? Or even 100Ah?

Lithium Iron Batteries, to the best of my knowledge, also require special charger.

P.S.
I wanted to re-iterate.. I wanted to replace a battery w/o tinkering with modifications.

I've seen 100ah on Amazon as low as $369. I purchased same at $475 a decent battery. I upgraded charge controller part of my progressive dynamics power distribution was easy 4 wire install. If I had it to do over might have just bought separate charger.
I think pretty much all the lithium cells are made in China so with a little research you can find a China manufacturer with decent quality.

Check out Will Prowse on Youtube. He literally tears batteries apart to show you how good or how crappy they are. He also will put you onto good deals for them.
