Cabin lighting

Greetings. I have a 1987 13' Scamp. The cabinet above the sink/stove features 12v lights at either end of the cabinet. I wonder if anyone knows where the wiring of the two lights travels down the wall. Before struggling with the Ensolite to find them I would like to be in the neighborhood.

Thank you.

Is there a metal pole running from the bottom cabinet to the top? It would be located in the middle close to the wall. That would be where the wires run.

Thanks Alex. There is no metal tube. I'm pretty certain it must run down behind the Ensolite but because the wire is such small gauge it's really hard to locate. I'll keep pressing and probing.

Thanks again.

The wires run behind the kitchenette wall. I would search around on the base of the upper cabinet and splice those wires for your additional lighting needs. Click image for larger version

What is the problem you are trying to solve?

On my '00 Scamp the wires for the 12 volt kitchen light are run inside the wall next to the 'fridge to the floor, then around the perimeter where the floor meets the wall over to the converter/load center.

Thanks Dan and Markz. The issue is that I wish to pull those wires into a new fuse block I've added. I was just hoping to find the wires with a minimum of fuss.

I found the wires today. They were under the Ensolite, on the left side of the cabinet. They were very difficult to access. But there was just enough wire to access before it disappeared behind the furnace. The lights are now properly terminated to my new fuse block.
