These E26 socket lamps should fit and work in the fixtures previously shown. A "common 120VAC light bulb" has an E26 socket and there many other 12VDC options to convert the fixture.

cool, ok, I've never seen any 12V stuff using standard A19/E26 form factor.

It's the one I use in swing arm lights over my desk for reading. But I do not like bright lights. 12 vdc incandescent bulbs were common years ago but I do not know if they still are.

I have an E26 base 12volt CFL bulb in a table lamp we use in our Scamp all the time. I'm sure they're now available with LEDs.

a number of different lamps to chose from. Inside a frosted lens, it won't matter if it looks crude or unusual.

If I wanted to use one of those in a 12V RV system, I'd probably replace the socket inside the fixture with a wedge base, as there's so many more 12V DC wedge bulbs to chose from.

porch light

Amazon has LED light bulbs with standard base that run on 12 Volts. The fixture you show is available at our local Lowe's. Hook it up to your 12 volts and put a 12 Volt bulb in it.
