One thing I would check on before I install any trailer 7-pin wiring is find out ahead of time if there is going to be any electrical, computer, etc. problems that the Subaru might have with an add on system. Some vehicles may have problems (computer) with add on wiring and can cause the vehicles electrical system to throw error codes to the vehicles system. Just something to think about, that's why I always purchase vehicles with toe packages from the factory installed, for the obvious reasons.
