Ennis Tx dining where the locals eat

Got to spend a night in either Ennis or Rice the night before we pick up our Casita. Any recommendations for dinner? We'll test out the casita's kitchen while staying a night on Lk Bardwell C.O.E. after we pick it up.

Cotton Patch in Ennis

If you're in Rice for Casita pickup, consider spending the night at American RV in Corsicana -- nice folks who know Casitas. We stayed there after picking up our Casita last spring and they recommended Cotton Patch and it was a good call -- good food, good service, inexpensive: https://maps.app.goo.gl/CKPduk9MWJ4PosbB7

We had planned to spend our first night at Bardwell Lake COE also but they cancelled our reservation and were closed at least a month due to flooding. We made the switch to American RV and in hindsight, glad we did. First time setting up, it was nice to have the pull through, full hookups to be able to test everything, Walmart within walking distance, etc. Just my $0.02 -- Bardwell Lake COE looks nice too!
