Help re Progressive 4635 converter/charger

I plan to call Progressive tomorrow but thought I'd ask:

does anyone know what the max charging rate of this unit is (35 amp unit)? This is a replacement unit for my old Magnetek 6325. I'm worried that if the Progressive puts out a full 35 amps initially to charge a 50% depleted AGM battery, that the 35A will play havoc with my Casita installed 30A resettable fuse. Hi Pat, welcome to FiberglassRV, we're glad you're here.

I'll leave answering your question to the experts. All I know about electricity is how to plug in!
