LED tailight on Casita

Who has replaced an LED tail light/running light on a Casita, and how much trouble was it? THX!

Not too difficult, at least on my previously owned 2016 ID.

Mine consisted of 2 pieces, a top and bottom. Each can be removed easily with a screwdriver. I only needed the top part but I could not find that anywhere so bought another whole unit, a Bargman unit. Sorry, no longer have the Casita so can't look at it, but its easily found on Amazon. . Rather than replace the whole thing and have to recaulk the mounting plate, I chose to scavenge the top part and just replace that. I did have to snip some existing electrical connections and replace them.

What does the light you have, look like? Rectangular? Oval? I am by no means a Casita expert but knowing what the light looks like would help immensely. Are you replacing it simply because it does not work? Damaged?

These are my Bargman lights. You may have the same thing, turned 90 degrees due to the narrower trailer. If these, take a phillips screwdriver and remove the two screws holding in the light you want to remove. (do not remove the screws in the outer black frame, just the two in the light you want out.) Might take a pocket knife tip to the edge of it to get it started out. These lights are Bargman series 84 lights and can be found on Amazon.

I did a write up on simple bulb change with pictures. Use the search function. Lots of posts on this.
