I just bought the connecting cables to allow me to hook these up to a panel, adjust the out voltage and current, and attach the out to my
battery, A buck converter is the basis for an MPPT controller, although of course this module is NOT an MPPT. But it would be a better charger than an equally cheap PWWM controller. Adjust and install, and you have close to good enough. My idea was one of these on the back of each panel.
I bought 8 of the 8ah cylindrical cells from which I created a 2p4s
battery. I will throw one of these on that
battery.
