Main fuse location - Scamp owners

On the wiring diagram it states that the main battery fuse is located under the front bunks. But I have a front bath. I see where the wiring goes into the trailer from the outside, but I see nothing in the front cabinet on the inside or underneath the camper. I've checked everywhere that I know of and have not found a mainline fuse on my camper. Anyone know where the main battery fuse is located on 2008 Scamp custom deluxe? Or isn't there one?

I have seen the main fuse buried under the Rat Fur right where you see the wires come inside from the tongue.
I imagine that you can feel the bundle under there if it is there?

So if you can track where the bundle enters the trailer the fuse should be right there.

Don't know why but......

I have seen this on several Scamp of different sizes too.

Ed, thanks. There is some carpeting that is glued to the rat fur in the closet next to the bath that may be covering up the wires and fuse. I will pull it back to see if it located there. I don't know if there is suppose to be carpeting in there or not (I didn't buy this unit new). It is a deluxe model so maybe the carpeting in there comes standard. It matches perfectly with the carpet on the floor in the main section of the trailer. I didn't think it would be necessary to remove capeting if you had to replace a fuse, but maybe.

It should be inside the closet right where it comes inside, probably close to floor level but covered by the rat fur.

Let us know where you find it, the info will help others

fuse location

I forgot about the fuse in the front closet . I put a 30 AMP fuse in the front closet fuse holder and a 20 or 25 AMP fuse in the battery case fuse holder (can't remember)
That way the fuse in the battery case blows first where it is a lot easier to access then unloading the closet . If both fuses are 30 amp it's a tossup on which fuse will blow
