My new DC test "light"

It's the typical DC test probe but with a voltage read out. If you've never bought a volt meter because you do not know how to run it, this would be great for you. No switches, just clip to ground and touch the probe to the voltage source.

Very nice, I had the older version with no read-out, just a light, since I was a kid .... many years ago, when I didn't know the voltage was important, and just wanted to see if there was. continuity.
Easier to get this out instead of the multi meter.

Good idea for a tool. Recently I studied the proper method for performing dynamic voltage drop testing to diagnose an electrical problem. There are some important concepts to learn even if you have a good voltmeter.

Mine arrived today. A pretty nice unit and does what it is supposed to do. I have a multimeter but ut requires at least three hands to use effectively, so this is perfect for tracking issues.
