Needs ideas for a replacment fixture insert for outer light
My CT-13 had an outer light, I assume it was a 12 v, there is a switch on the left as you enter the door that has been disconnected and the light fixture was removed, anyone have pictures of what the original fixture looks like or ideas for installing a replacement fixture? Mine is just empty on the inside. I think I'm going to go with an LED bulb in there.
Mine has been all redone by the previous owner, like I said, I don't have any issues, but if I do, I'll need an electrician to figure it out. There are about four connections to the battery terminals from leads that go here and there.

On my CT13 that is where the vent for the furnace is. Your light could be a mod.

I think it was, after looking at it a second time, I don't think I'm going to mess with it. It is just an empty shell that may have been put there to cover the hole, the original heater was removed long ago, I could replace the fixture but I don't see a huge benefit.
I think a porch light would be cool. I might like that since I'm not installing my furnace and the vent to outside is ugly. Another idea for lighting outside that I have used is solar stake lights like those used to light a path.
