Newbie...need advice

We bought our 1984 13' boler last year. The converter is broken. When we bought it the previous owners were using a Canadian Tire battery pack and it was run through the converter.

I would prefer just a battery that can charge when we are plugged into 120v and then be used when we are at unserviced sites. Bonus if we can also charge it with solar power. Do we need another converter or just battery.

I want to be able to run lights , fantastic fan and outlets with battery powers.

Any suggestions from people who have used this setup?

Why do you think the converter is broken? If the battery pack was running through the converter, then it appears that the DC section is OK. Have you checked all of the fuses and breakers? Some fuses are internal behind the panel, and should be checked as well.

If you will give us your converter make and model number, someone who has the same unit may be able to give you a hand.
