A lot better ones out there for about the same money, but better quality.

For anyone updating or replacing their converter a four stage charger is the way to go.
Progressive Dynamics makes a 4 stage upgrade with "Charge Wizzard" for longer battery life that replaces the converter section and DC board in your existing unit making it easier to install and connect.

That's the one I installed about 2 years ago. Can't imagine anyone wanting to go backwards in technology. And FWIW, WFCO's aren't very good units to begin with, compared to just about anything else out there. Probably be the last thing I'd want.

While I'm sure it was no one's intent, this thread kinda jumps on the OP. Take a look, he/she is a pretty new participant who, I'm also sure, felt they were helping folks out by providing a link to what appeared to them to be a good deal. Obviously, others didn't feel this was a good deal.

Perhaps, a little more acknowledgement of the good intentions, and a thanks for the suggestion, but then go on to explain why it might not be a good choice. It just seemed to me the responses were harsh and off-putting to a members future participation. Just the way it struck me.

I'm often accused of being blunt, less than tactful, and opinionated. I'm working on it, so I'm trying to look critically at how I respond. Hopefully I expressed this point in a way that is considered constructive criticism and not slamming - that's how it was intended.
