Well I won’t but Renogy connections again. I don’t know the brand, but the ones that just came in today from Northern Arizona Wind &
Solar went on with zero issues. The Renogy were hard to get on the wires themselves, then wouldn’t connect. The ones I got today were easy to get on the wires, crimp and connected no problem to the cable hatch connectors. Plus the Renogy connectors take a different tool, which doesn’t work with most other MC4s. So...no point in having two sets of the tool.
I did pretty good with
battery management. It was at 12.67V this morning, after 6 days of no charge. That’s three showers, the
fridge fan running 15 hours/day, and other typical water pump use. No
lights, no other fans, no charging devices. Will be nice to run fans again...
Anyway, happy to have my
solar back!
