Tail Light not led

How to heck do I get at the light bulb to change it? the tail Light! This is the regular bulb not the led replacement ...'78 boler
Only the right directional is not working could it be something else beside the bulb?
Please keep the answer dumb
I'm sure it's here somewhere but can't navigate with the playbook
I WANT TO GO CAMPING!!!!!

I for one don't understand the question. Every taillight I've ever had to do with had a removable lens cover, under which was a bulb. Bulb removable usually by push/turn method. An exception of course would be in the case of a late model LED- not stock and often requiring the replacement of the whole unit. You say this is not such a fixture.


What gives? Pictures might help...

First get a screwdriver remove the tail light lens. A picture will help of the tail light. If it has a bulb push in and turn the bulb it will come out. Go to a auto parts store and buy a new bulb, reinstall the bulb. Hook the power cable up to the tow vehicle turn the lights on. If the bulb works you are ok. If not take the trailer to a repair shop or tire shop for further checking.
