Question WeBoost Mounting on Hunter Compact / Campster

Hi Everyone! I'm hoping to purchase a Campster soon and am wondering how you mount a WeBoost antenna? I haven't gotten to see one of these campers in person yet, but seeing as how it's fiberglass, doesn't look like the magnetic option will work. It doesn't seem to have an attachment points to attach an antenna safely so what's your solution? I was thinking maybe using epoxy to attach to the top?

Also, what model did you get? I need the most boost that can work while in motion. Since they are so small thinking of Drive Reach or Drive Reach OTR

I looked up the antenna/booster. I think your best option for a Campster or most any fiberglass trailer will be a pole mounted to either the rear bumper or behind the hitch in front. I'm not sure whether this antenna requires a ground plane, but the frame of the trailer can serve that purpose. They mention attaching it to a rear ladder. A pole should work as a substitute.

Thats the approach I've taken with my ham radio antennas.

If you really wanted to use a mag mount, set up the booster in your tow vehicle and set the inside antenna where you can pick it up from inside the trailer. You would have to figure out how to power it.

We have our WeBoost RV model mounted on an extendable pole that we bungee to our awning arm when camped. I raise it to about 12 feet, which is the limit to our cable running into the trailer. For use when on the road, Iíve never tried because our smart phones seem to work fine in mobile hotspot mode if needed.

We use the Drive Reach on our fiberglass Casita. Outside antenna comes with a magnetic plate with adhesive for non metallic surfaces. Seems to work fine on the fiberglass. Inside antenna placement is tricky since there is no metal roof to prevent interference between inside and outside antennas. Just remember if you have no phone signal, there is nothing to boost!
