Why would someone do this?

I have a 1978 unik trailer that I got this summer. One of the previous owners (not the person I bought from) cut all of the electrical wires for some reason and I cannot fathom why. I know I will have to replace it but just curious if there is a reason people do this that I may not know about. I have attached some photos.

Probably for the same reason some people remove propane lines. It's not working, they don't have the skills to fix it, they have fears it will cause a fire, so they decide to go without and hack as much out as they conveniently can.

There's really no rational explanation for some of the things people do. Take it as your opportunity to build back better.

Maybe a light bulb burned out and he didn't have the skills to replace? LOL!

Appears to me as if someone tried to 'fix' something and lost his temper rather than admit he didn't have a clue how to repair it.
Sort of like the feeling I get when the morons at Microsoft change everything with a new version of Windows and nothing works right. I have to fight the urge to 'input' data with a .410 shotgun
