Wiring a powdered vent?

Hi all!
I am wanting to install a powdered Fan-Tastic Vent into my Surfside. I am just wondering how its wired in? Are there typical existing wires that I can/should connect to, or does it go straight to the converter box under the sink and stove. I am not very experienced in electrical, so don't want to burn the thing down.
Thanks!
Jason

Well the easiest answer is that if you aren't very familiar with wiring, you should find someone who is to come help you. You're right, you don't want to burn it down.

You will need to either splice into existing wires, or run a new set of wires to your power center if there's an open space which can be fused. I know my power center isn't really set up to have things easily added to it, so I just spliced into the nearest set of wires I could find in my camper, after figuring out what they were powering, and making sure the fan wouldn't be overloading the circuit.

The wires I found powered the hood fan and light, and another kitchen light. Since I had just switched to LED lights, I figured, after looking at how much power the fan would draw, that with the reduced draw of the LEDs, I'd be ok with my fan in that circuit. You'll need to figure that out too.
