2010 Freedom Deluxe 17' sewer connector

We are about to purchase a 2010 17 F/D instead of having the sewer hookup that swivels this one has the outlet fixed at a slight down angle with a dump valve on each side of it is this the norm for this year? Thanks Kip

Hi Kip, I've never seen a Casita set up that way. I would hazzard to guess someone in the past broke off the original plumbing and reworked it to separate outlets. Should work fine as long as the ground clearance is OK. Just double handling the slinky.

Thanks both valves are connected to a common outlet so double handling the slinky won't be a problem

It sounds like the previous owner has installed the "fast grey water kit" this is a good thing, it improves the dump speed of the grey tank and It eliminates the swivel dump connection in some mods. This is a problem with Casitas.

It's not unusual to fix the swivel by either over tightening the bolts or some even glue it in place - just eliminates two potential spots for leakage by repeated swiveling wearing out the O-rings.
